Melbourne West Church
ALL SAINTS CHURCH, WEST FOOTSCRAY
9am and 4pmSUNDAY SERVICES
Each Sunday we gather as a community to hear Godâs word, sing, pray and spend time together. Our service times are 9am and 4pm at All Saints Anglican Church, West Footscray.
If you come along youâll find a real range of people; young, old; students, workers, retirees; families, single people â and all coming from an array of cultures and backgrounds. All are welcome, so come along; weâd love to meet you!
GOSPEL COMMUNITIES
During the week, we scatter throughout the western suburbs of Melbourne in smaller Gospel Communities to share life, give and receive love, and grow in maturity together.
Our Gospel Communities are all across the west, so thereâs sure to be one near you. If not, we are continually raising up new leaders and starting new Gospel Communities, so one is not far away. We bring together people across ages and life-stages so we better experience the diversity of Godâs people. We still have Gospel Communities meeting online at the moment, so get in touch if you are interested in a digital Gospel Community at this time.
At our Gospel Communities, we dive into the passage of the Bible that we looked at on Sunday. We also share meals together, connect on a deeper level, pray for each other, and support one another in reaching out faithfully for Jesus to our wider world.
CITY KIDS
We are passionate about seeing the next generation know Jesus and make Jesus known, and so each Sunday our City Kids gather during both our morning and afternoon services. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who lead the program, providing fun, interactive learning experiences for kids in creche (10 months-3 years), pre-school (4-5 years), and lower (prep-grade 3) and upper primary (grade 4-5). Several of our volunteers have experience and training teaching kids with special needs. If youâre new to City Kids, come a little early, so you can sign in your children and meet our team!
CITY YOUTH
City Youth is designed to form a community for your teenagers that they love being a part of and want to invite their friends along to. We think itâs important to provide a space where they can have fun, build friendships, and ask deep questions about life and faith. City Youth meets throughout the year on Friday nights. To find out more email us below.
TRAINING
We want to support you in your Christian faith, and so training is integral to our mission. We offer a variety of training events and courses which can encourage and equip you in growing your faith. These include Introducing Jesus - our Christianity course, womenâs events, menâs events, and a Marriage Preparation course. Our goal is to disciple and equip everyone at City on a Hill to know Jesus and make Jesus known.
PRAYER AND PASTORAL CARE
Prayer is fundamental to the Christian life, and so we want to provide space for all people to speak with their Creator. We have regular Zoom prayer meetings 7.30am Monday to Friday, and itâs a wonderful way to spend time with God and get to know others. If youâre keen, jump on to Zoom link.
We all have different challenges and opportunities in life, and we want to provide support and care through every season. If youâd like to speak to someone please get in touch.
SALT
Our mission is to âknow Jesus and make Jesus knownâ â but how do we actually do that? SALT is a training program designed to help everyday people get excited about their faith and learn how to share it with others. For more details email us below.
MANY ROOMS
Many Rooms is City on a Hillâs mercy ministry - a practical expression of care and support for those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable in our city. It operates across all City on a Hill churches, through our national-based programs; The Living Room and Care Pack Initiative. In addition, our Melbourne churches work together to serve Melbourneâs homeless and disadvantaged. Normally, our Many Rooms Kitchen, provides nutritious meals and community for Melbourneâs homeless and disadvantaged on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. However at the moment our Kitchen is closed and instead we are delivering meals and care packs to the vulnerable we know.
Find out about how you can get involved and explore your gift of service and mercy through Many Rooms.
